[news] Lee Hyori's edited version mv passed KBS but with a catch
Lee Hyori's music video "chitty chitty bang bang" which was released on the 13th was banned from broadcast in KBS TV due to the music video scenes such as driving without seatbelt's on and walking and dancing on the road violations of road traffic rules.
Lee Hyori's side recently submitted an edited version for reconsideration to SBS, MBC and most of all KBS. The results from KBS was that only 12 year old and above can watch it.
The singer's agency deleted scenes violating the terms and reduced the video with 1 minute and 30 seconds and was given a 12+ rating from KBS.
The original music video passed on MBC but was decided to be 15 years old and above, mnet submitted the edited version and it passed review and the terms was changed to be available for viewing at all ages.
Meanwhile, SBS who originally gave the music video a 12+ rating are still in deliberations for the edited version and the result will be given on the 23rd.
