Korean singer and actor Hwanhee will hold his first ever fan meeting in Japan on April 27 to 28, according to his agency KEYEAST on Friday.
KEYEAST announced in a press release that the event will take place at the Nakano Sun Plaza Hall in Tokyo where the singer will take part in a ceremony launching his official Japanese fan club and give a live performance.
He will be singing several songs including title track "Because I Missed Your Heart" from his solo album "H Soul" as well as his hit songs "Gaseum Appado" from the "Fashion 70s" soundtrack and "My Love" from "Beethoven Virus" soundtrack.
Hwanhee had garnered attention in Japan after visiting the country last December for his concert "HWANHEE presents-LOVE in Christmas."
A representative from his record company said, "Interest in Hwanhee has been increasing since his concert in the country and there were non-stop requests for a fan meeting. He has been preparing and working hard for the event."
Meanwhile, Hwanhee is currently working on his first Japanese debut album and recording his Korean album as well. He is also planning to make appearances in several dramas, movies and advertisements.
Hwanhee, whose real name is Hwang Yoon-suk, made his debut in 1999 through R&B duo Fly to the Sky with member Brian. They have released numerous albums which include their hits "Sea of Love," "Missing You" and "Gravity."
He began his solo career through an album in October 2009 and stepped onto the small screen appearing in MBC's "Over the Rainbow" and SBS' "I Love You."
