[news] Thunder Thinks Krystal is Chic + Thunder's and Krystal's Response Toward MC-ing

"To be honest, I thought it would be hard to get along with Krystal since she looked so chic, so I was a bit worried when we first met. We will be hosting together more in the future so if we can't get over it, it would be awkward later. I found out that she's really easy to talk to after meeting her and we became more familiar with each other. In the waiting/preparation room, we would joke around with one another."

"The first impression I had of Thunder-oppa was that he's very kind and gentle. After getting to know him more, I found that he's fun to be around with. He teases me/jokes about how he wanted to host with Sulli more. I got back at him and said that I actually wanted host with MIR instead."

Thunder and Krystal's teamwork came out better than expected.

On April 29th in Seoul's Gwang-jin Gu district at Konkuk University's New Millennium Building broadcasting area, Arirang TV will be recording their new music program "The M Wave" live. Because this is their first time recording, both of them are feeling nervous.

They said a few wrong lines but they improved as the recording went on, sounding more and more natural as they joked around along the way.

But, however, "The M Wave" will be a program hosted in English. For these first-time MC's, hosting English must have its pressures.

Krystal was born in the U.S. and came to Korea when she was 5 years old and has been speaking Korean ever since.

"English and Korean are not that easy for me since I am not really good at speaking. Luckily Krystal was there to help me, giving me an easier time getting used to MC-ing."

"Because I haven't used English in a while, I forgot a lot of it and had trouble getting my lines right at the beginning. But it got better as I spoke more and became more familiar with it."

Many people support them taking on the challenge of being first-time hosts.

The host Go from MCD said, "Just relax and host," encouraging Thunder.

MC-ing for SBS Inkigayo's Sulli said to Krystal, "It will be easier as you become familiar with each other over time and you won't be nervous anymore," encourage Krystal.

And Thunder has received a "(response/encouragement)" from his sister Sandara Park.

"I'm actually embarrassed to say because my sister calls me baby in private. Yesterday (the 28th), I texted my sister telling her I will be using English to host a program. My sister responded with, 'You're still a little baby,' and I replied, 'Yes'."

Because "The M Wave" is a program that introduces the POP Charts of other Asian countries and not just the music rankings within Korea, the significance of this program is even greater for these two singers.

"I heard that this program will be broadcasted in 188 countries so it is beneficial, not only to us, but to other Korean singers as well. I actually want to go to a foreign country, but I can't go because of certain reasons. More people will be able to get to know us through this program so we have to work even harder."

"The M Wave" will be broadcasted on May 2nd, MC-ed by the two of them.
